In order to meet the EU6 emission norm a combined system of FSI / MPI injection has been developed in Audi. Thanks to an optional method of injection, a significant decrease in solid particles emissions can be achieved as well as a decrease in fuel consumption.
The fuel intake to the MPI valve has been resolved in for the first time Audi by a distributor made of plastic which was developed in cooperation with the Novatech company.
PRODUCTION - FROM RAW MATERIALS TO THE INJECTING MOULDING
Our modern machinery, with pressure capacities of 360 – 3500 kN, guarantees the highest precision. All machines are equipped with four core pulls, high-wear resistant injection units and separating systems.
We process approx. 2200 tons per year and produce approx. 50 million parts.
We produce on a site of over 5000 m².
In order to ensure our strategy of Total Process Control (TPC), all injection moulding machines are equipped with automatic quality systems, integrated hot-runner systems, heating/cooling systems and permanent automatic parameter monitoring.
Integrated robots for part removal, printing etc. are also standard.
Raw material is supplied centrally to the machines using Vacuum lines. Dry-air driers ensure the consistent quality of materials by automatic monitoring of the drying degree by means of dew point measurement.
The cold water supply of the machines and tools takes place in separate closed systems. The water is chemically treated for the protection of the tools, this prevents rust, calcium build up, algae and aggressive oxygen formation in the cooling systems and thus ensures long term even temperature control.
